Some pastel type cult party

I probably should have said this previously (thanks to 0scharlachrot0 for making the point - no pun intended), but I wore these pointe ballet shoes for these photo only,  I would never consider wearing them as normal shoes, in fact I have almost identical satin ballerina pumps for casual wear that I would switch for the ones in the pics.

Cult party that involves overmuch nature items is deemed mori. alternatively if it has overmuch religious items it is cult party. if the shoes are platform usually it is cult party if they look sandally and jesusy its a mori coord. but please use your own discretion and common sense in these matters.

In my head this is the closest to mori girl and dolly kei. Folk, Occult, nature.  Long skirts with dangerous secrets. She knows the old ways but she is cuuuute. Ok I sound like a bad 80s runway model. There are no feel rules on mori girl.  A Japanese woman laid down rules on mixi and they are fine but everyhing evolves; this fashion is like Chaos Magick; evrything is allowed but nothing is excluded. Something like that. If you are drawn to mori you already have the right spirit but lets not b.s. you wanna dress like a cute Japanese girl. A forest pixie.

I call this next look cult party mochi, it is the fairy kei end of the look. pretty pastels and pop culture icons especially retro Japanese ones like Creamy Mami.

Transparent floaty vintage nightrobes: found in thrift stores and on eBay. A cute babydoll dress. pale probbly patterned tights , maybe Grimoire. Ballerina platforms.

Accessories Ahcumchacha cathead , Keisuke Kanda.

 I always felt like this look was a retro/shoujo romantix heroine. Right down to the hair hime cut.

Thrift casual:  maybe the hardest because the so called rules are so loose its like they don’ t exist. but theres a feel there, the outfit has the same color pallet which is muted moss, pastels in cult party, had at least one cute element, just a tshirt normally, no kawaii shit, no massive necklace with i love kirito or whtever. Pick something retro, obscure and unobtrusive.

So like tshirt with retro slogan, a bunch of badges/buttons, sport short, New Balance sneakers. A see thru tulle skirt. If it looks bad try different outfit elements.

The bear with the specs is called Tapioca on account of her bobbly fur, and the little guy is Peanut.
